Walker
Since I was unable to attend the field trip for the art gallery, I decided to go down to the Walker Art Center. I have been to The Walker art center many times before and I always have enjoyed it in the past. They always have new exhibits and pieces to admire which keeps it very fresh and rejuvenating every time you visit. The sculpture garden is very intriguing, but I enjoy the galleries as well.
Some pieces that really stood out to me where the ones that were in motion and were never stationary. In one part of the gallery, there was a floating sheet of what looked to be aluminum foil that would just slightly move back and forth on the floor. I thought this was really cool. I also really enjoyed all of the videos that they have displayed in the walls with how weird and interesting some of them are. One that I distinctly remember is a women’s face with marbles in her mouth and that’s all it was. It was very odd. I also thought the arm and shoulder made of wax next to it was quite cool too.
I also watched a video of all clay-animation, which was very fun to watch. The film was about 10minutes in length. I think clay-animation would be one of those things that would be very hard to
work with. I noticed a lot of stuff on the cooperation of Best Buy and it’s origination, which I thought was cool because I work at Best Buy. All in all, The Walker was a great time enjoying all of the new art and compositions and I plan on going back very soon.

Burak Kaynak
Kyle Smith

These are the names of all the top contributors to a website called yayeveryday.com. Rather than write a sentence about each of them, I figured I would group them together since they all contribute to the same website. I get many inspirations for different ideas from their work and this website. I respect all of them for what they contribute and sharing their work with everyone on the web. I'm not sure if I prefer any particular artist over another since they are always adding new pieces and designs which always seem to blow my mind.

Bill Antkowiak, graphic designer.
I found these words to be very true, and one of the most important aspects of working with graphic design.

MOVIE POSTER
Toadally vintage.
For this poster, I had someone take a picture of myself in an open field near my household. After uploading the picture, I had to find the right space invaders to incorporate into the poster. After placing and editing all the space invaders, i had to find a color that fit with my black and white background. I choose a charcoal gray color. For my text, I used Helvetica font. The poster itself is very simple, but that is something I enjoy about it.

Quote Project
My teacher for my Art Technology class would constantly say "Technology simplifies our lives" to us as a class. After hearing it for a while it was sort of burned into my brain but I actually started to think about it and the reality of it. Technology has done great things for us and allows us to do wonders.

Good/Bad Movie Posters
GOOD
BAD
I'm not really sure how I came about this poster, but I found it horrible(not just the fact that it's for a horror movie). It takes the viewer quite sometime to really figure out what this picture is, and the text is very hard to read, I think. It really tells nothing for the viewer about the movie, so they really have no idea what they are looking at.
Overall, I think this poster works very well. The maze looks sort of confusing at first, but it really ties together the whole concept of the movie without being too overwhelming. The actors are all listed in the upper right hand corner, and the text is very clear and easy to read. I am a fan of this poster.

A Bio Or Something.
My name is Matthew Liddle. I am nineteen years and am interested in Graphic Design. I recently graduated this summer from Coon Rapids High School and will be going to Anoka Ramsey to take my general courses along with some electives that I am interested in. I work at Best Buy as a computer sales associate, so I am a huge computer geek. I love discovering new interesting and rad types of music, although I don't really play an instrument. Longboarding, wakeskating, computers, and art are all things that I enjoy. I used to travel to play paintball nationally for a Division 2 team called Air Assault Factory, although I do not anymore. I find technology fascinating, and the things that we can do with it. As a career, I hope to someday be in some category of graphic design or web design, or something else that I could use PhotoShop and Illustrator with.

Life of a computer sales associate
I work at Best Buy as a computer sales associate, and I am also interested in computers outside of my job. I thought this picture was humorous.
