Walker

Since I was unable to attend the field trip for the art gallery, I decided to go down to the Walker Art Center.  I have been to The Walker art center many times before and I always have enjoyed it in the past.  They always have new exhibits and pieces to admire which keeps it very fresh and rejuvenating every time you visit.  The sculpture garden is very intriguing, but I enjoy the galleries as well.

Some pieces that really stood out to me where the ones that were in motion and were never stationary.  In one part of the gallery, there was a floating sheet of what looked to be aluminum foil that would just slightly move back and forth on the floor.  I thought this was really cool.  I also really enjoyed all of the videos that they have displayed in the walls with how weird and interesting some of them are.  One that I distinctly remember is a women’s face with marbles in her mouth and that’s all it was.  It was very odd.  I also thought the arm and shoulder made of wax next to it was quite cool too.
I also watched a video of all clay-animation, which was very fun to watch.  The film was about 10
minutes in length.  I think clay-animation would be one of those things that would be very hard to
work with.  I noticed a lot of stuff on the cooperation of Best Buy and it’s origination, which I thought was cool because I work at Best Buy.  All in all, The Walker was a great time enjoying all of the new art and compositions and I plan on going back very soon.

These are the names of all the top contributors to a website called yayeveryday.com.  Rather than write a sentence about each of them, I figured I would group them together since they all contribute to the same website.  I get many inspirations for different ideas from their work and this website.  I respect all of them for what they contribute and sharing their work with everyone on the web.  I'm not sure if I prefer any particular artist over another since they are always adding new pieces and designs which always seem to blow my mind.

"It all comes back to working well with your clients and co-workers, building a good relationship with them, in which case you'll get a grasp on their needs. Build a great relationship, and you'll do great work." -

Bill Antkowiak, graphic designer.

I found these words to be very true, and one of the most important aspects of working with graphic design.
